Treatments

Shiatsu treatments are typically performed on a futon laid at floor level or on a treatment table with the use of a variety of cushions and support aids to ensure the comfort of the reciever. This allows the Practitioner to provide a very supportive and nuturing treatment experience for the client. Sometimes treatments are given in a seated position depending on the needs of the receiver.

It is a totally non-invasive form of therapy that generally doesn't not require direct skin contact so you will be fully clothed during your treatment.

A typical treatment will last between 40-60 minutes. We run a busy Practice therefore ask that you please be considerate by providing at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. Unattended sessions will be charged if not cancelled within the notice period.
